veg soup Vegetable soup origin was related to ancient history. The Spartans warriors ate a thin vegetable soup named “black broth” in ancient times. Veg soup is prepared using vegetables and leaf vegetables as main ingredients. Some fruits can also be used, such as tomato, squash. It is typically served hot, although some, such as pea soup, can also be served cold. this soup is found all over the world. soup mostly serve as a starter. mostly people sip soup in a winter season.  Soup makes human body warm from inside. so people love to sip soup in a winter season. Soup has a lot of varieties of cream soup, chicken soup, etc.


Ingredients for vegetable soup

1 tablespoon olive oil or any refined oil
3 cloves garlic
1/2 large onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1ribs celery, chopped (ajwain)
salt according to your taste
2 cups mixed chopped vegetables, your choice (like capsicum etc)1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
half teaspoon oregano ( ajwain leaves)
1 bay leaf ( tej pata)
1/2 teaspoon thyme ( ajwain flower)
8 cups water and 2 cubes of vegetable 8 cups vegetable broth
Can tomatoes puree


Preparation time- 10 min

cooking time- 20 min

overall time- 30 min

Method for vegetable soup

Put oil into a pan and heat Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped carrots, and the celery and mix it well. now stir it at least for 3-4 minutes, until the onions are soft.
Then Add the rest of the vegetables and heat it for 2-3 minutes.

Now add salt, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, and stir it for a minute and mix it well.
Then add bay leaf, water or vegetable broth and simmer it for a while.

Now we add the tomatoes and stir it and allow your vegetable soup to simmer until all the vegetables are cooked almost for 10-12 minutes.
Adjust seasonings to taste.
Remove the bay leaf and serve your vegetable soup.
