Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in a tandoor or roast in hot tawa. It is a vegetarian alternative to chicken tikka and other meat dishes. Paneer tikka is most popular dishes in india and you can eat it in every restaurant.
Cubes of paneer, fresh cheese, are marinated in spices and are then arranged on a stick with capsicums, onions, and tomatoes. These sticks are grilled in a tandoor or roast on tawa and then paneer tikka served hot with the chili sauce. It is also served with the salad or mint chutney. Paneer Tikka dishes traditionally go well with mint chutney.
½ cup curd/yogurt
1/3 tablespoon garam masala
1 tablespoon red chili powder / lal mirch powder½ tablespoon coriander powder / daniya powder
¼ tablespoon cumin powder/jeera powder
½ tablespoon Kasturi methi dry
1/4 tablespoon chaat masala
1 tsp ginger – garlic paste
½ tablespoon turmeric / haldi
¼ tsp ajwain/carom seeds
2 tbsp besan/gram flour, dry roasted
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt according to your taste
3 tablespoon refined oil
½ onions, petals
½ capsicum, cubed
5 cubes paneer/cottage cheese
First of all, we take ½ cup thick curd/yogurt.
Now we add all garam masala, red chili powder. coriander leaves, cumin powder.dry methi, chaat masala, garlic paste,
turmeric powder, carom seeds.besan, gram flour, lemon juice, salt and oil.
Now mix all the species together with curd.
Now we add ½ onion petals, ½ cubed capsicum, and 5 cubes paneer
with 1 tsp of oil.
Now we have to mix it until all the vegetables are coated well.
then we have to marinate our mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
After marination, insert the marinated paneer, capsicum and onions into wooden skewers.
Roast it on a hot tawa or grill in oven or tandoor.
Now our recipe is ready. sprinkle some chaat masala and serves paneer tikka immediately with sauce.
